Park City-area trails closed for maintenance, fire mitigation in September

Run-A-Muk will be closed in Kimball Junction for trail resurfacing starting Sept. Mountain Trails Foundation Executive Director Lora Anthony says Kimball Junction’s Run-A-Muk trail will be closed weekdays starting Sept. Anthony also advised trail users the Point 2 Point bike race will bring hundreds of people to Park City’s trails from Round Valley to Park City Mountain Saturday.

The Eastern Summit County Planning Commission has spent the last six months reviewing amendments to the general plan. The commission will then vote on a recommendation to the county council, which has the final say.

DUCHESNE COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — The three individuals killed in a head-on crash on SR-40 last week have been identified. on August 28th, an eastbound Black 2003 Peterbilt Semi Truck drifted off of SR-40 to the right near milepost 82.
