Lehi City announced June 10 that several summer sports camps for the 2/026 season are available for local youth, featuring instruction in basketball, cheerleading, and dance.
Boys basketball camp details
The boys summer basketball camp, open to students in grades K-11, will be coached by Skyridge High School head coach Jeff Gardner. The program focuses on basic basketball fundamentals and will be held at either the Lehi Legacy Center or Skyridge High School.
Girls basketball camp features
A girls basketball camp for grades K-12 will be led by Skyridge High School coach Shaylee Nielsen. This camp emphasizes ball handling, individual skills, and game play movement. Participants are instructed to bring their own basketball each day.
Cheerleading program information
Other available programs include a cheer camp for children ages 6-12, which teaches basic techniques, motions, and dances. Participants in the cheer program will have the opportunity to showcase their skills during the Round Up week parade on a Friday night.
Dance camp availability
A dance camp is also offered for children between the ages of 5 and 14.
