In a report published September 18, several Utah high school teams achieved victories in non-region football, baseball, and volleyball competitions.
In non-region football, the Millard Eagles defeated Enterprise 21-7 during a Homecoming game at Millard High School on Friday. Stedson Stott recorded 88 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries, while John Noyes contributed a 52-yard touchdown reception and Jensen Davies added another score. Following the win, both the Eagles and the Wolves hold 3-3 season records. For Enterprise, Jake Christensen led with 138 scrimmage yards, and Jack Moyle scored a 3-yard touchdown run in the first quarter.
In Milford, the Tigers won a close non-region matchup against the Parowan Rams with a score of 15-14. Braxton Hansen scored both a rushing and a passing touchdown for Milford, while Tyson Bettridge recorded a touchdown pass and a rushing score for Parowan.
In 1A South baseball, the Bryce Valley Mustangs defeated Green River 15-4. Trevyn Clark drove in four runs for the Mustangs, and Gerardo Lopez earned the win with two strikeouts in one inning. For Green River, Cooper Meadows, Mauricio Hernandez, William Wilmarth, and Gabriel Quintana each drove in one run.
In non-region baseball, the Wayne Badgers beat Altamont 13-7. Ruger Grundy, Teegan Flanagan, and Keaton Giles each recorded two RBIs for the Badgers. Harrison Lounsbury hit a home run for Altamont.
Volleyball tournament results included victories for Snow Canyon (3-0), North Sanpete (3-0), and Whitehorse (3-0) against Juab, South Sevier, and Escalante, respectively.
