The Draper Fire Department provides free educational classes designed to help Draper residents prepare for emergencies. Upcoming training sessions include Push to Survive and Stop the Bleed programs.
The Push to Survive class offers free public education in hands-only CPR, a skill described as easy to learn, remember, and perform during an emergency. While the class is free, registration is required and it does not provide CPR certification.
Additionally, the Stop the Bleed program is part of a national awareness campaign intended to empower bystanders to assist during bleeding emergencies before professional help arrives. This class is also free and requires registration.
A combined Push to Survive/Stop the Bleed training session is scheduled for Wednesday, March 4, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The training will take place at Fire Station #22 Training Room located at 14324 Fire House Rd, Draper, UT 84020.
This hands-on session teaches participants how to recognize life-threatening bleeding, properly apply a tourniquet, and pack and control severe bleeding, as well as hands-only CPR. No prior medical training is necessary, and the class is open to all community members. Because space is limited, registration is required.
