The Sanpete County Fair is scheduled to take place from August 24 through August 29, 2026, in Manti, featuring a series of rodeo and livestock events. The upcoming fair follows earlier community preparations, including a fairpark booking announcement released by Sanpete County on Aug. 4, 2026.
Rodeo and Registration Details
The Rocky Mountain Professional Rodeo Association (RMPRA) will host a ranch bronc call-in on Aug. 20, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Participants can participate via phone by calling 435-851-2654.
In addition to the call-in, rodeo registration will be held at the RMPRA office on Aug. 20, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. According to the RMPRA, interested participants can also register online through their official website.
Fair Event Schedule
The fair will feature a variety of competitive events throughout the week. The ATV Rodeo is scheduled for Aug. 26, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM in the arena, while the Jr. Rodeo will take place on Aug. 25, 2026, from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
Other scheduled activities include a Demolition Derby registration that concluded on Aug. 15, 2026, and Car & Tractor Show sign-ups that run through Aug. 29, 2026. Parade entry registration is also available online until Aug. 29, 2026.
Livestock and Market Events
Livestock management and exhibitions are central to the fair's programming. The 4-H/FFA Jr. Livestock Barn Set-Up & Test is scheduled for Aug. 24, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 6:30 PM.
Market classes for livestock are scheduled for Aug. 27, 2026, including Hog Market Classes at 8:00 AM, Sheep Market Classes at 10:00 AM, and Goat Market Classes at 1:00 PM. All livestock market classes will be held in the livestock barn.
Rodeo Association Background
The RMPRA, which was established in 2008 by Jim Mascaro and Ben German, sanctions more than 40 rodeos annually. The association has grown to include more than 700 members and distributes over $550,000 in prize money each year.
The association aims to promote the sport of rodeo by bringing together top cowboys and cowgirls in a western setting to provide family entertainment.
