The victim, identified as a man in his 20s, was part of a group at the reservoir on Sunday when he disappeared under the water's surface.
According to reports, the man disappeared while attempting to swim across the reservoir.
The recovery follows his disappearance from the group during the Sunday outing in Utah County.
