Concurrent Enrollment enables high school students to earn college and high school credit concurrently. The program requires yearly application and semester-by-semester registration.
Students can take courses through Dixie State University to receive concurrent credit. Options include enrollment at Hurricane High School, Utah Online, the Hurricane Education Center, and UTECH Main Campus. Additional support is provided through UTECH and the Utah Education Center.
The program includes general education certification and a general education map for high school students. Information on credit transfer to BYU and UTECH is also available.
The initiative supports education and business development in the region.
