Franklin Elementary has announced key dates and activities for the 2026-2027 school year. The school is preparing to welcome students and families back to campus with several upcoming events and a special Blue Carpet Walk.
Important upcoming dates for the school year include a Back-to-School Night on Thursday, August 13, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The first day of school for students in grades 1-6 is scheduled for Wednesday, August 19. These students will be greeted with a Blue Carpet Walk at the front of the school.
Kindergarten students will begin their school year on Wednesday, August 26. They will also be welcomed with a special Blue Carpet Walk at the kindergarten entrance.
Standard school hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:40 a.m. to 3:20 p.m. On Fridays, the school observes an early release schedule from 8:40 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
