The U.S. National Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame and Museum announced its Class of 2026 inductees in a statement published September 29, 2026. The nine-member class was unveiled during an announcement party at UTOG Brewery in Ogden, Utah.
The 2026 inductees include Utah residents Ted Ligety of Park City, a four-time Olympian with two gold medals in alpine combined and giant slalom, and Scott Markewitz of Salt Lake City, a prominent ski photographer who has appeared on 21 Powder magazine covers. Stephani Victor of Park City is also being honored, recognized as a five-time Paralympian with five medals and 24 World Cup victories.
Other inductees include Brad Holmes of Lake Tahoe, California, who was the youngest person to join the U.S. Ski Team in 1984, and Tim Petrick of Burien, Washington, the former President and CEO of K2. The class also features Dave Holli of Ishpeming, Michigan, who helped raise $1.2 million to build the museum, and C.B. Vaughan Jr. of Manchester, Vermont, who set a world record for speed on skis in 1965. The final inductees are Jim Morrison and the late Hilaree Nelson of Telluride, Colorado, who were recognized for their pioneering ski mountaineering expeditions.
The induction ceremony is scheduled for April 10, 2027, in Ogden, with Snowbasin serving as the on-snow partner. The U.S. National Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame and Museum is located in Ishpeming, Michigan, and aims to showcase the stories and memorabilia of those who have enriched the sports of skiing and snowboarding.

The Class of 2026 includes individuals with significant industry impacts, such as C.B. Vaughan Jr., whose company CB Sports reached $45 million in sales in 1985, and Tim Petrick, who was an executive leader behind K2's shaped ski launch in the 1994/95 season.
