Moab Red Devils take second at state; Nona Hadler sprints to third
Moab's high school mountain bike team finished second in the state in its division, racing against schools far larger than its own. The Moab Red Devils took second of 34 Division 2 teams at the Utah High School Cycling League state championships in St. George on Oct. 23 and 24.

Cougar found outside Moab business tranquilized, relocated
MOAB, Utah, Oct. 28, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A young, male cougar spotted outside a Moab business on Monday was tranquilized and removed. Utah Division of Wildlife Resources biologists were called in, and successfully tranquilized the cougar, a Utah DWR statement says.
