Cottonwood Heights police have confirmed a murder-suicide in which mental health issues are believed to be a contributing factor.
The bodies of 51-year-old Heather Dawn Nelson and 19-year-old Norah Browyn Nelson were discovered on May 30.
According to police, Norah was found dead with multiple gunshot wounds.
The investigation into the incident involving Heather Dawn Nelson and her daughter has been confirmed by the Cottonwood Heights Police Department.
