Utah Valley University has released the itinerary for its upcoming 2026 Commencement Ceremony. The event is scheduled to take place on April 29, 2026, at the UCCU Center located at 800 W. University Pkwy., Orem, UT 84058.
Doors for the ceremony are set to open at 5:30 pm, with the official program beginning at 7:30 pm.
The commencement itinerary includes several specific timeframes for graduates and guests. Graduates are instructed to check in at 6 pm and should arrive dressed in their cap and gown.
For the processional, bagpipers will begin the walk through the Hall of Flags and through the Pope Science Building. The procession will turn toward the UCCU Center at the Liberal Arts Building crossroads, where graduates will enter and proceed to their seats.
Guests and loved ones are asked to be seated by 7 pm to ensure they can view the graduate processional, which is expected to conclude in the UCCU Center at 7:30 pm.
The ceremony is scheduled to run from 7:30 pm until 8:30 pm. During the program, President Tuminez and other keynote speakers will address the graduating class.
The event will also feature the awarding of honorary degrees and the official moving of tassels by all graduates. Attendees can also look for convocation schedules for specific college and school ceremonies, as each individual unit may have different dates and times.
