Rodizio Grill announced plans to open its third Utah restaurant in Ogden in 2027, according to a October 29 report. The new location will be situated at 2309 Washington Blvd. and will bring the brand's signature churrasco experience to Northern Utah.
The Ogden restaurant will feature rotisserie-grilled meats carved tableside by Rodizio Gauchos, a fresh gourmet salad bar, and a Brazilian hot side bar. Founder Ivan Utrera stated that the move to Ogden gives the company the chance to share its heritage with a new community through food, music, and Brazilian experience. Utrera noted that the brand first opened the first Brazilian steakhouse in the United States in 1996 and expanded to Utah three years later.
Rodizio Grill CEO Steven Staples said the Ogden location reflects the momentum behind the brand and serves as the company's third Utah restaurant, with a fourth location already in development. Staples noted that the company is headquartered in Utah and has seen guests embrace the brand for 27 years. The company is focused on thoughtful growth by bringing the experience to communities ready to celebrate with them.
Established in 1995, Rodizio Grill is the first authentic Brazilian steakhouse in the U.S. The company is headquartered in Sandy, Utah, and operates 24 locations across 14 states. The menu includes an all-inclusive selection of unlimited Brazilian sides, more than 30 gourmet salads, and rotisserie-grilled meats.
Leading up to the opening day, the company will share a Road to Rodizio countdown with the Ogden community. This will include sneak peeks, behind-the-scenes moments, and grand opening celebrations. More details regarding the grand opening will be announced in the coming months.
