Megan Randazzo has been named assistant superintendent for Utah Catholic Schools. Working alongside Superintendent Nikki Ward, Randazzo will mentor new principals, provide instructional coaching, and lead the statewide implementation of the Academic Excellence Framework.
In her new role, Randazzo will oversee frameworks including Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) and Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS). These frameworks aim to meet the academic, social-emotional, and spiritual needs of students.
Randazzo previously served as the principal of The Madeleine Choir School in Salt Lake City for eight years. Her transition to diocesan leadership follows her work heading the Academic Excellence Committee, where she helped adapt the MCS Instructional Framework into a statewide standard for Utah Catholic Schools.
Randazzo has a background in special education, having earned a master's degree from the University of Utah in 2011. She also holds an administrative licensure certificate from Southern Utah University, which she received in 2018.
Before her time as principal, Randazzo taught at The Madeleine Choir School for six years and worked in the Canyons School District as an instructional coach for French immersion and gifted/talented programs.
A graduate of Judge Memorial Catholic High School, Randazzo attended J.E. Cosgriff Memorial Catholic School in Salt Lake City. She earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education from Carroll College in Helena, Montana.
