The Utah Department of Transportation (UDOT) has rehabilitated State Route 248, spanning from State Route 224 to U.S. Highway 40 in Park City and Summit County. The project was implemented to extend the life of the pavement and provide a smoother driving surface for motorists.
The rehabilitation work involved milling one inch of the current pavement and applying a one-inch overlay. Additionally, UDOT upgraded deficient pedestrian ramps and restriped the corridor.
To accommodate a westbound shoulder running bus lane from U.S. 40 to Comstock Drive, a short widening of approximately 700 feet was performed on the southwest side of the Richardson Flat intersection.
