Skyridge High School athletes have achieved various milestones across multiple sports, including standout performances in track and volleyball. According to reports from the Lehi Free Press, Skyridge girls volleyball was ranked No. 3 in the preseason Class 6A coaches poll.
In track and field, Skyridge athletes were recognized as athletes of the month. Briggs Parker, a 12th-grade student, won a gold medal in the 100-meter dash at State with a time of 10.7 seconds. Ty Baird, also a 12th grader, secured a gold medal in the high jump by clearing 6-feet-4.0-inches at State.
In other sports, the Skyridge boys golf team placed seventh at the Northern Utah Invitational held at Eagle Mountain. The Skyridge softball team finished in second place in Region 3 after a 9-3 record in league play.
The Skyridge girls soccer team began the season with a new head coach, Jhoan Alvizo, who has experience in Spanish and Portuguese. However, the team struggled to score during a busy opening week, resulting in a four-point loss.
The Skyridge High School football team prepared for the 2026 season through scrimmages and fundraisers.
Skyridge athletes and musicians have also been recognized for academic excellence through the Utah High School Activities Association's Academic All-State Award, which has been presented for over 40 years.
