The Tooele City Council and the Redevelopment Agency (RDA) of Tooele City scheduled a work meeting for Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at 5:30 p.m. The meeting was set to take place in the Tooele City Hall Council Chambers at 90 North Main Street.
The agenda for the meeting included several discussion items. Jason Burningham of LRB Public Finance Advisors was scheduled to present a discussion regarding sewer bonds. Community Development Director Andrew Aagard was scheduled to present discussions concerning the history of the IS Industrial Service Zoning District and possible amendments to the Industrial, Light Industrial, and Industrial Service Zoning Districts regarding permitted land uses. Additionally, Aagard was scheduled to present a proposed City Code Text Amendment request from Perry Commercial regarding Residential Special Districts Eligibility and Size.
Other scheduled discussions included water depletion presented by City Engineer Paul Hansen and a discussion on the proposed Broadway RDA presented by Economic Development Director John Perez. The meeting was also scheduled to include a closed meeting regarding litigation, property acquisition, and/or personnel.
