An emergency water shutdown was issued for 1350 N, between 1300 N and Liberty Ave, to address a pipeline in need of immediate repair, according to a notice from the City of Ogden.
The shutdown affects hydrants in the area and has an estimated service restoration time of 3:30 PM on September 6, 2026.
Residents may experience discolored water as a result of the shutdown. In such cases, officials recommend running a cold water faucet in a bathtub until the water clears to help flush home water lines. It is recommended that residents avoid using hot water or washing light-colored laundry until the water runs clear.
Water crews will flush lines in the area once emergency repairs are finished. Residents are asked to notify the city if discolored water persists. Questions can be directed to 801-629-8321 during business hours.
