Lehi residents are being targeted by various scams, including gift card fraud and Social Security phone scams, according to local reports.
Lehi Police Sergeant Tayne Call stated that gift card scams are among the methods hackers use to steal from Lehi residents. In one instance, a Lehi woman lost $10,000 in a gift card scam.
The Lehi Police Department has also been alerting individuals about an ongoing phone call scam involving Social Security. Many individuals, including locals, have fallen victim to this fraud.
The Lehi Police Department continues to warn the community about these fraudulent activities.
