The Utah Department of Natural Resources, Division of State Parks, is currently seeking applicants for several seasonal positions across the state. These roles include Park Ranger Aide opportunities at Great Salt Lake State Park and Gunlock State Park.
At Great Salt Lake State Park, up to two positions are available with a salary of $13.77 per hour. This appointment is scheduled from July 15, 2026, through September 2026, with a possible extension. No housing is provided for this location.
Gunlock State Park is also offering Park Ranger Aide positions at a salary of $15 per hour. These seasonal roles may run between 3 to 8 months, with shifts occurring seven days a week from 7:00 am to 8:00 pm. Housing is not provided for these positions.
Other recent seasonal openings within the Division of Parks include Park Ranger Aide roles at Utahraptor State Park, which offers $16.50 per hour and provides housing in two-bedroom apartments for current employees. Additionally, Watercraft Inspection and Decontamination Tech I positions are available at Daniel’s Port of Entry/Strawberry Reservoir with a salary of $16.50 per hour.
