The Summit County Council has announced a volunteer opportunity to fill six vacancies on the Summit County Recreation Arts & Parks Advisory Committee - Cultural. This committee, also known as the RAP Tax Cultural Committee, is tasked with reviewing applications for consideration of RAP tax funds.
Responsibilities include focusing on recreational facilities as well as botanical and cultural organizations.
Committee members will be active during March and April. The role involves using a standard rubric to review and score applications, followed by participation in a two-hour meeting to determine a final funding recommendation.
The total time expectation for the position is approximately 15 hours.
