The No. 20 Utah football team defeated Arkansas 43-10 at Rice-Eccles Stadium, improving to 2-0 on the season. A sold-out crowd of 51,532 fans watched as the Utes built a 26-point halftime lead against the Razorbacks.
Wayshawn Parker contributed three touchdowns to the victory, finishing with 118 all-purpose yards. Parker recorded 53 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns, along with 65 receiving yards on five receptions and one receiving touchdown.
Quarterback Devon Dampier completed 18-of-24 passes for 261 yards and two passing touchdowns, while also adding two rushing touchdowns. Tight end Noah Bennee recorded a career-high 113 receiving yards and his first Utah touchdown.
Utah's defense recorded 13 pass breakups, the second-highest single-game total in program history and the most since 1998. Defensive players Jireh Moe and Johnathan Hall each recorded eight tackles, with Moe also earning his first sack of the season. Elijah Elliss and Nate Tilmon also recorded sacks.
Utah has scored 30 or more points in eight consecutive games dating back to the 2025 season. The Utes are scheduled to play Utah State on Saturday, Sept. 19 at 1:30 p.m. MT.
