Two years after its initial opening, Intermountain Health Primary Children’s Hospital - Miller Family Campus in Lehi is expanding to meet the growing demand for pediatric care. The expansion comes as the health system continues to implement various service enhancements and infrastructure developments across its network.
The expansion in Lehi follows a series of recent milestones for Intermountain Health facilities. In Colorado, St. Mary’s Regional Hospital has reported a significant increase in deliveries, even as birthrates decline across much of the United States. Additionally, fourteen Intermountain Health hospitals recently earned an A grade from The Leapfrog Group for excellence in patient safety.
In Arizona, the health system celebrated the opening of a new air medical base at the Kingman Airport to improve emergency care access throughout Mohave County. Similar infrastructure developments are occurring in other regions, such as the groundbreaking of an emergency department expansion at Fillmore Community Hospital and the introduction of new orthopedic services at Holy Rosary Hospital in eastern Montana.
The health system continues to expand its clinical reach through various strategic initiatives. Recent recognitions include nine Intermountain Health hospitals being named to the 2026 100 Top Hospitals list by Modern Healthcare and Premier, as well as St. Vincent Regional Hospital in Billings, Montana, receiving Nursing Magnet recognition from the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
