The U.S. National Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame and Museum announced on August 19 that it will host its annual charity golf outing and the Class of 2026 announcement party in Ogden, Utah, this September.
The two-day event in Ogden will include the reveal of eight new members for the Class of 2026.
The annual charity golf outing, which serves as one of the largest fundraisers for the Hall of Fame, was scheduled for Monday, Sept. 28, at Mt. Ogden Golf Course. Registration for the event is currently available.
On Tuesday, Sept. 29, the Hall of Fame will hold an announcement party at UTOG Brewing Company from 6 to 7:30 p.m. to reveal the eight members selected for the Class of 2026. The party is free to attend and will feature a cash bar, small bites, giveaways, and a silent auction.
The eight members selected for the Class of 2026 are scheduled for official induction on Saturday, March 20, 2027, at the Ogden Eccles Conference Center. This induction ceremony will be supported by Visit Ogden.
Candidates for the Hall of Fame are nominated under established criteria in three categories: Athlete, Sport Builder, and Heritage. The Selection Committee evaluates nominees based on minimum qualifying criteria to create a ballot, which is then voted on by a panel consisting of Honored Members, industry representatives, resort representatives, and Hall of Fame board directors and committee members.
The U.S. National Ski & Snowboard Hall of Fame and Museum is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to honoring athletes, pioneers, and visionaries in United States skiing and snowboarding. The organization maintains a national museum in Ishpeming, Michigan.
