The Student Life & Wellness Center at Utah Valley University provides a variety of engaging fitness classes designed for the Wolverine community. While classes are free for all SLWC members, day passes and punch passes are available for nonmembers, and programs remain open to all students.
The summer class schedule, which began May 11, 2026, includes several disciplines. Yoga classes are held on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Mat Pilates sessions occur throughout the week from Monday through Saturday. For those seeking high-intensity workouts, Surge Strength is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays, while High Fitness takes place on Tuesdays.
Other specialized offerings include Jiu Jitsu on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, as well as Dirtylicious dance fitness on Wednesdays. While there are currently no regular Zumba or Spin classes scheduled, the center encourages following their social media for pop-up updates.
The Fitness Outreach Program allows certified instructors or personal trainers to visit organizations, department meetings, or special events. Small presentations lasting 15 minutes or less are provided free of charge. Group training sessions ranging from 30 minutes to one hour are also available for various costs depending on the location, such as $50 for off-site community events or $25 per hour for virtual sessions.
Additionally, the center offers gym equipment rentals for campus events. Mobile items like yoga mats and exercise bands can be rented, with pricing based on the quantity of items requested. All rental requests must be submitted at least 48 hours before the event date.
Participants are encouraged to register in advance to secure their spots via the university's online dashboard. Please note that class schedules may change due to factors such as instructor availability, low enrollment, or illness.
