The St. George City Council scheduled a public hearing to consider an annexation petition for Tawny Meadows. The hearing was set to occur at 5:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers at the St. George City Hall, located at 61 South Main Street in St. George, Utah.
The City Council received a notice of certification of the annexation petition on July 28, 2025. The property involved in the petition is located at the intersection of 3430 East in St. George and 3930 South in Washington.
The land consists of 2.277 acres, totaling 99,192 square feet. The parcel is described as being located in the northwest quarter of Section 2, Township 43 South, Range 15 West, Salt Lake Base and Meridian.
The City Council encouraged all interested citizens to attend the hearing. The City of St. George stated it will make efforts to provide reasonable accommodations to disabled members of the public in accessing City programs.
