A series of seasonal road closures have been announced for several locations, including Empire Pass and the lower Pine Canyon gate. In coordination with Utah DOT and Utah Division of State Parks, these gates are scheduled to close on Wednesday, November 26, at 7 a.m.
Additional closures are set for the same morning. Working with the U.S. Forest Service and Utah Division of State Parks, officials stated that the lower Cascade Springs Drive gate will close on Wednesday, November 26, at 7 a.m. Additionally, the Lake Creek gate at the snowmobile turn around is also scheduled to close at 7 a.m. on November 26.
Further closures are planned for early December. In coordination with the U.S. Forest Service and Utah County, the gate on West Strawberry Road near Indian Springs/Renegade and the gate at Unicorn Ridge on the Utah County side will close on Monday, December 1, at 8 a.m.
