Utah Valley men's basketball head coach Todd Phillips announced the promotion of Seena Namdar to director of recruiting for the Wolverines on August 19. The move comes ahead of the upcoming season.
Namdar transitions into the new role after serving the previous two years as a graduate assistant on the staff of Phillips. While Namdar was on the staff, the Wolverines achieved a 50-18 record, which included a 29-5 mark in WAC competition.
A native of Sandy, Utah, Namdar was a star at Alta High School and played collegiate sports at Colorado Northwestern Community College of Rangley, Colo.
The promotion occurs as the Wolverines prepare for their inaugural season of competition in the Big West Conference.
