Additionally, the group is responsible for writing the annual Trustlands Plan, which identifies academic needs and designs a plan to utilize allocated state funds.

The 2025-2026 Community Council members include Principal Matt Parker, Counselor Ky Fisher, and parents Amanda Ellis, Bryan Hayward, Brynn Eastman, Haley Savage, John Toth, and Tynley Bean.
Meeting Schedule and Location
Meetings are held at Deseret Peak High School in the Nest from 6:00 to 7:30 pm. Recent meeting dates included September 30, 2025, November 17, 2025, and January 27, 2026, though the April 20, 2026, meeting was canceled.
Roles and Funding Oversight
Serving on the council provides an opportunity for parents and teachers to help improve academic performance. The school receives an annual dividend from the School LAND Trust Program, and the council decides how these funds are used. All plans prepared by the council undergo final approval by the school board.
