In a July 21 announcement, the City of Francis confirmed that fire restrictions remain in place for the community. The town's recent notices also highlighted active outdoor watering restrictions, which prohibit watering between the hours of 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Statewide Fireworks Limits
The Francis administration also referenced Governor Cox's executive order regarding temporary statewide fireworks restrictions. This state-level measure was implemented to mitigate fire risks during periods of high volatility.
Wasatch County Fire Measures
In the Town of Hideout, local authorities have implemented a ban on fireworks within town limits. According to municipal records, Wasatch County has also officially adopted Stage 1 fire restrictions to manage local environmental safety.

While the Town of Hideout's records regarding these restrictions date back to a 2019 update, the town has also noted recent scheduling changes, including moving its July 16 Planning Commission meeting to July 22.
