St. Francis Hospital – Interquest has achieved Level IV Trauma Certification, marking a significant milestone in its ability to provide advanced trauma care to the Northern Colorado Springs community.
The certification comes as the hospital celebrates its third anniversary of service. This designation recognizes the facility's dedicated trauma team and the protocols in place to address serious injuries through immediate assessment, stabilization, and definitive care.
For residents in the Monument and Interquest areas, the elevated certification provides expanded access to life-saving care.
Pete Powers, Market President for Greater Colorado & Kansas, stated that achieving this certification and celebrating three years of operation reflects the efforts of the entire team. He noted that it highlights a commitment to enhancing services so neighbors have access to higher levels of emergency and trauma care close to home.
Since opening, St. Francis Hospital – Interquest has served as a local healthcare cornerstone with its General Medical Unit and state-of-the-art Emergency Department. The facility utilizes innovative technology, such as smart rooms designed to foster a collaborative environment for caregivers and empower patients.
