High school students aiming for careers in the beauty and barbering industry recently participated in a two-day Halloween contest, according to a November 2 report from the Jordan School District. The event involved students from the Hair Design, Barbering, and Nail Technology programs.
During the contest, students collaborated to transform classmates into various characters. The transformations included gravity-defying updos, haunting makeup, intricate nail art, and bold costumes.
Instructors for the Hair Design, Barbering, and Nail Technology programs stated that such events are intended to help students expand technical skills, unleash creativity, and build practical confidence for their future careers.
