Rivalry week is here!

University of Utah Communications -

When Utah Football takes on BYU this Saturday, Nov. 7, at 10 a.m., we need you to bring the energy, passion and enthusiasm that make Rice-Eccles Stadium the best home-field environment in college football.

We want you to: Be Loud. Be Proud. Be Relentless. And above all, keep it classy.

Great fans cheer for their team while respecting their opponents and their fans. That means no personal attacks, no vulgar chants and no discriminatory or derogatory language.

Our FanUP commitment is simple: Cheer loudly. Welcome our guests. Enjoy the game responsibly. And look out for one another.

Remember, how we conduct ourselves reflects on the University of Utah, our student-athletes and the entire U community.

Inappropriate or unsafe behavior may result in removal from the stadium or other consequences. Updated guidance from the Big 12 on these consequences was recently issued. If you witness unacceptable behavior, notify game-day staff or text FANUP to 1-385-355-7533.

Let's make Rice-Eccles Stadium one of the best places to experience college football. The eyes of the nation and the Big 12 will be focused on us this weekend. Let's not disappoint.

After the game

Whether were celebrating a win or dealing with a tough loss, how we conduct ourselves after the game matters just as much as how we cheer inside Rice-Eccles Stadium.

Be responsible. Be clean. Be safe.

Our neighbors surrounding the university deserve respect because they are U fans too. We understand postgame celebrations can overflow into residential neighborhoods. Please respect private property, keep noise down, pick up after yourselves and help keep our surrounding communities safe.

Being a U fan and member of the community means being a good neighborbefore, during and after the game.

Thank you for representing the U with pride and respect.

Go Utes!
