The application, identified as 63-4379 (a54689), proposes using 0.9 acre-feet of groundwater located 12.2 miles east of Sigurd for domestic and other purposes. The notice stated that protests regarding the application must be filed with the Division of Water Rights by July 14, 2026.

Under Rule 655-6-2, protests must be written or typed and include the protester's name, mailing address, application number, and reasons for the protest. A $15 fee is required for each protested application.
