The Ogden Police Department is investigating the unsolved homicide of Frank Orme, a case that remains a cold case investigation. Orme was found deceased in a pickup truck in 1993 near Lorin Farr Park.
On September 16, 1993, Ogden officers were dispatched to a medical problem in the 700 block of Canyon Road. Upon arrival, officers found Orme deceased in a blue Chevrolet pickup truck parked eastbound on the south side of Canyon Road.
Medical personnel transported Orme to McKay-Dee Hospital, where he subsequently died. While interviews were conducted during the initial investigation, the assailant was not identified.
Frank Orme was 36 years old at the time of his death. He is described as a male with black hair, brown eyes, standing 5 feet 5 inches tall and weighing 160 pounds.
