The Murray Senior Recreation Center Advisory Board has scheduled a meeting for September 23, 2026, according to a September 15 notice. The meeting is set to begin at 8:30 a.m. at the Heritage Center located at 10 East 6150 S, Murray, UT 84107.
According to the meeting agenda, business items include discussions regarding next month's board member assignments and updates on the center construction project, specifically involving the roof and a drop ceiling RFP. The board also plans to discuss various programs such as pickleball, learn to play pickleball, NIA, and Zumba Gold.
Special events under review include the Senior Center Month celebration titled Happier Birthdays Happen Here, a Halloween costume party, and a Veterans Day celebration. The meeting will also feature a special recognition for a representative from Heritage Senior Adults, Inc. and a report from Director Cory Plant.
Citizens wishing to have comments read into the record may email acallaway@murray.utah.gov by 5:00 p.m. the day before the meeting. Comments must be limited to three minutes or less, or approximately 300 words for emails, and must include the individual's name and address.
