The Kaysville City Planning Commission is scheduled to hold a public hearing on Thursday, Sept. 10, 2026, to consider new code amendments regarding political signs, according to a notice published August 28.
The proposed text amendment is intended to comply with House Bill 33, titled 'Political Sign Amendments,' which modified regulations for the placement of political signs. Specifically, the amendments would allow political signs to be placed in the park strips of adjoining private property.
