Lake Mountain School District has officially announced the appointment of its inaugural leadership team. Dr. Vicki Carter will serve as Superintendent, alongside Dr. Amanda Bollinger, who has been appointed as Deputy Superintendent.
The announcement comes as the district continues its development following a vote in which 67% of participants voted in favor of the Lake Mountain name.
The School Board previously reached a unanimous decision to establish the Lake Mountain School District. This transition follows a period of community engagement where results were tallied after 38 hours and nearly 7,000 votes.
The district's formation is part of an ongoing organizational structure that includes three strong districts.
The district is currently operating with a countdown toward its opening. Recent communications from the district have also addressed previous logistical matters, such as traffic impacts on I-15 in the Lindon area and student information updates via Skyward.
