Oquirrh Hills Middle School students and staff participated in a high-energy assembly featuring the Brigham Young University Dunk Team and Cosmo the Cougar, according to a October 19 report. The performance by the BYU athletic acrobats included impressive dunks and student engagement.
During the event, team members invited students and staff to participate on the floor to test their dunking abilities. Teachers Mr. Egbert and Mr. Diaz performed dunks during the assembly, while two school administrators assisted with the team's stunts.
The assembly was designed to align with the school's Level Up theme, which encourages students to excel academically, socially, and personally. The event provided an entertaining experience for the school community prior to fall break.
