TREMONTON, Utah (ABC4) — The Harley Fire burning in Tremonton is now estimated to have burnt nearly 200 acres and is 25% contained. The fire started on Friday evening in the Tremonton and Garland area in Box Elder County.
BOX ELDER COUNTY (ABC4) — A significant grass fire has started in the Tremonton and Garland area. The fire is leading to evacuations. Garland Fire Department stated that they are on scene of a working grass fire. They added, "All Harley Drive residents need to evacuate right now."
The Tremonton City Council met on July 21, 2026, to discuss various ordinances, including a new parks and open space master plan and regulations regarding the discharge of projectiles. The meeting also addressed city policies for generative AI and potential fire department remodeling.
BOX ELDER COUNTY, Utah — The Tremonton-Garland Police Department marked the one-year anniversary Monday of the loss of Sgt. Lee Sorensen and Officer Eric Estrada, who were killed in the line of duty on Aug. 17, 2025.
