The South Ogden City Council and South Ogden City Planning Commission are scheduled to hold meetings on Thursday, November 12, 2026, according to a notice published November 6. The City Council will conduct a work session at 5:30 p.m., followed by a Planning Commission meeting at 6:15 p.m.
The South Ogden City Council work session will take place in the city council chambers at City Hall, located at 3950 Adams Ave., South Ogden, Utah, 84403. Vice Chair Pete Caldwell is scheduled to call the work session to order. The agenda for the work session includes a review of agenda items and a discussion regarding a Planning Commission ethics presentation. No action will be taken on any items discussed during this work session, as discussions are intended for clarification only.
The South Ogden City Planning Commission meeting is also scheduled for Thursday, November 12, 2026, at 6:15 p.m. in the City Hall council chambers. This meeting will include a discussion regarding uses and building types for form-based code. The commission is also scheduled to consider the nomination and election of a chair and vice chair, as well as the approval of minutes from the October 8, 2026, Planning Commission meeting and the October 22, 2026, Planning Commission work session.
The Planning Commission meeting will include public comments, though no action can or will be taken on comments made regarding items not on the agenda. The commission will also receive staff reports regarding the future Planning Commission meeting schedule. While the meeting is open to the public, some commission members may attend electronically, and the session will be streamed live via www.youtube.com/@southogdencity.
