The South Ogden City Council is scheduled to hold a regularly scheduled meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2026, according to a notice posted Oct. 30. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m. at City Hall, located at 3950 Adams Ave. in South Ogden, Utah.
The meeting agenda includes an opening ceremony featuring Mayor Russell Porter, a prayer or moment of silence, and the Pledge of Allegiance led by Council Member Rocha. Following the opening ceremony, the council will hold a public comment period where community members may address the mayor and council regarding concerns, suggestions, or praise for items not on the agenda. Participants in public comments are asked to limit their remarks to three minutes, and officials noted that no action can or will be taken during this meeting on comments made during that time.
The consent agenda for the meeting includes the approval of the Oct. 20, 2026, Council Minutes and the advice and consent of appointments for Christopher Pruess and Lynn Mulhall to the South Ogden City Planning Commission. Additionally, the council is scheduled to discuss and take action regarding the approval of moderate-income housing and strategies.
The meeting is open to the public and will be streamed live via youtube.com/@southogdencity. While the meeting will be held at the city council chambers, some council members may attend electronically. Individuals requiring special accommodations or auxiliary communicative aids and services should notify Danielle Bendinelli at 801-622-2707 at least 24 hours before the meeting.
Following the discussion and action items, the meeting will include reports and direction to the City Manager from council members, the City Manager, and the Mayor before adjournment.
