A gully located behind the playground and picnic pavilion in Lindsey Gardens contains broken gravestones that were bulldozed into the area when the land above was cleared for a new fire station.
According to Shane Camoin, these gravestones litter the tall grass and weeds in a location separated from the Salt Lake City Cemetery by a chain-link fence.
The Salt Lake City Cemetery, which is the largest cemetery in the state, sits adjacent to the park. Camoin noted that the inventor of the electric traffic light is buried within the cemetery.
