The Utah Department of Natural Resources, Division of Parks, is seeking applicants for seasonal Park Ranger Aid-Booth Worker positions at Deer Creek State Park near Heber City. These part-time, temporary roles offer a starting salary of $16.00 per hour.
The job duties include working in an office or booth setting using a point of sale computer system. Responsibilities involve processing entrance fees and camping reservations, answering phone calls, selling retail items, and answering questions. The position is described as a fast-paced, heavy customer service role where training is provided.
Applicants must be at least 16 years old and possess a valid Utah driver’s license at the time of employment. Candidates should be able to work independently in a tourism environment and may be required to stand for long periods. While preference may be given to student interns or those with education in natural resource-related fields, all are encouraged to apply.
