The Brigham City Planning Commission will host a public hearing on Oct. 20, 2026, to discuss a rezone application for property located at the west end of Cotton Grove Drive (640 South). According to a notice published Oct. 1, the hearing will gather input on changing the land use for approximately 4 acres between 1100 West and the railroad.
The application, identified as # 26-095, proposes to modify the current zoning districts. The request involves changing the designation of the property from a mix of A-5 (Agricultural) and R-M-7 (Multiple Residential) to entirely R-M-7 (Multiple Residential).
The public hearing is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 20, 2026, in the Brigham City Council Chambers. The chambers are located at 20 North Main Street, Brigham City, Utah.
