Lion King Jr. Auditions

Lion King Jr. Auditions Mt. Loafer Elementary October 12, 2026We are so excited to begin auditions for Lion King Jr.! Students in Kindergarten through 5th grade are welcome to audition. We do want families to be aware that we will be primarily casting 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade students. Our rehearsals can sometimes be long, especially after a full day of school, and we want to make sure our younger students are able to enjoy the experience without becoming overly tired or overwhelmed. That being said, if you have a kindergarten, 1st, or 2nd grade student who is exceptionally talented, mature, responsible, and excited about performing, we would absolutely encourage them to audition! We will consider younger students for roles that are a good fit for their age and abilities.Whether or not students are chosen for a part in this year’s production, learning about the audition process will definitely help them in future auditions. We hope the experience will be positive and encouraging for every student, even if they do not receive a part this year. We want every student who auditions to feel welcome and have the opportunity to show us what they can do. We are looking forward to seeing all of our future stars!
