The Arts Council Board may appoint a minimum of fifteen members to serve three-year terms. While members generally possess an enthusiasm for the arts, professional experience is not required. Appointees are expected to be city residents.
Interested individuals may apply online to serve on the board. According to the city's website, the Mayor's office will contact applicants only when considering them for specific appointments.
