Southern Utah University's Master of Accountancy has earned national recognition after being ranked as one of the best programs for job security. According to a notice posted to the university website, the program boasts a 96.5% graduate employment rate and provides flexible options for both online and on-campus study.
The university has introduced several new academic offerings and initiatives within its School of Business. This includes a new Bachelor of Science in Professional Sales scheduled for fall 2026 to provide hands-on career training. Additionally, a flexible seven-week Salesforce Sales Foundations course was scheduled to begin on Sept. 14 to assist students and professionals in building career-ready skills.
The Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) program is also expanding to include a comprehensive in-person option starting this fall. Other recent developments include the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Joe and Beverly Burgess Family Business Center and the hosting of the annual Thunder Sales Competition by the Professional Sales program.
Southern Utah University continues to highlight student and faculty achievements, including various valedictorian honors and the recognition of student-owned businesses through the Business Breakthrough Showcase.
