Kaysville City is seeking community support to provide assistance to local residents in need this Christmas season. The city has identified various ways for families and friends to contribute through donations of goods, gift cards, and financial support.
Ways to donate goods and funds
Several methods have been established for community involvement. Residents can visit a virtual giving tree at www.kaysvillegives.com or select donation tags from the Christmas Tree located at City Hall. All donations from these sources must be returned to Kaysville City Hall at 23 E. Center Street by December 10th.
Amazon list and Fill the Fire Truck
An Amazon gift list is also available for suggested donations, which will be delivered directly to Kaysville City Hall. Additionally, a Fill the Fire Truck event is scheduled for December 4th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. During this event, the Kaysville Fire Department, Youth City Council, and City Council will collect cash, checks, gift cards, and new items including toys, books, warm clothes, boots, shoes, socks, underwear, coats, hats, and gloves for children of all ages.
Making financial contributions and tax receipts
Financial contributions can be made online or in person at Kaysville City Hall. For those requiring a receipt for tax purposes, the city requests that they provide notification when making a financial donation. Residents can also call 801-544-1235 to make donations at City Hall.
