The Circleville Town Council is scheduled to meet on Wednesday, Sept. 9, 2026, at 7 p.m., according to a Sept. 8 notice. The meeting will take place at the Community Center, located at 210 S. Center St.
The agenda for the meeting includes the approval of minutes from Aug. 12 and a public comment period. Council members are scheduled to review, discuss, and approve several items, including the Oak Basin Water discussion, the Busy Busy employee app, residential sidewalks and crosswalks with UDOT, and park rental terms. Other agenda items include hours of sale for off-premise beer retailers, clinic business license changes or renewals, and the hiring of a town maintenance position.
The council is also scheduled to review and approve various departments, including Fire, Maintenance, Water, Road, Planning & Zoning/Cemetery, Parks & Recreation/Economic Development, and Town Maintenance. Additionally, the council will review and approve bills and budget variances.
According to the notice, the council may move into a closed session for purposes allowed under the Open and Public Meeting Act. This could include discussions regarding litigation strategy, real property transactions, or matters involving the character or health of an individual.
